Meet Our Team
Deborah provides expert bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and tax planning services to a diverse range of clients. With over 8 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations and small businesses, she brings a well-rounded perspective to each engagement.
Prior to co-founding Mirror Accounting Services, Deborah worked at a tax preparation firm and served as an accountant for a nonprofit organization. Her background has equipped her with a strong understanding of the unique financial needs of both mission-driven and for-profit entities.
Deborah is known for her keen business insight and serves as a trusted advisor, helping clients improve their financial operations and make informed decisions. She is passionate about maintaining accurate books and developing proactive tax strategies that help businesses and individuals minimize their tax liabilities.
Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
Jason leads Mirror Accounting Services, providing overall guidance and direction for the firm. Jason has over two decades in accounting and financial management. Jason focuses on CFO and financial management services, consulting on complex accounting and financial issues, financial statement preparation and analysis, tax preparation and tax planning.
Prior to founding Mirror Accounting Services, Jason held accounting and finance positions in organizations such as PwC, Credit Suisse, MorganFranklin Consulting and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
Jason’s accounting career started with PwC, where he audited companies in various sectors, including financial services, retail and energy. Since his first foray into accounting, Jason has expanded his expertise to include accounting research and financial statement analysis (Credit Suisse, PCAOB), advisory and transaction services (MorganFranklin) and tax preparation and tax planning.
Jason has an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut and holds a Bachelors Degree in Management from the University of the West Indies. Jason is a CPA licensed in Maryland and Colorado and is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants.
